New York City: Bushwick
Sometimes I just want to remember what a place looks like, so I take a series of pictures as I turn slowly. This is Bushwick, in Brooklyn. I went there to visit my friend Deborah Brown, an excellent painter who is creating a project for the new Animal Shelter here in Memphis. Debbie also has a small gallery in Bushwick called STOREFRONT. She was nice enough to open it for me on a Tuesday morning so I could see what she's been up to - it's a very nice little space.

New York City: PS1
Saw the exhibit Greater New York - see my (snarky) "review" here.
The courtyard activity was very fun and engaging. Of course I just stood to the side and took pictures.
Love the orange!
Outside a window.
More activity in the courtyard.

New York City: More Queens Museum of Art
The Queens Museum is so great! Not only did they have the Panorama of the City of New York, but they also had the relief map below of the New York City water supply system, and another one of what Flushing Meadows Corona Park looked like during the World's Fair that was held here.
